Changing Ichii Culture, Unchanged Emotion

"Qing Ming Shang He Tu" of Zhang Zeduan, one famous Chinese painter in Song dynasty, is a very special painting work in Chinese art history for it touched upon an unprecedented topic, which is ichii, the most important part of Chinese location downtown.Theme about ichii gives the painting works lots of features, which has the direct relationship with the painter's living environment. Studied the works of Feng Zikai, Xifu, Ye Qianyu, and Zhang Leping, I learned that folk consciousness is the original creativity for ichii art, most ichii arts was created from the living condition and feeling of local people. The aesthetic value of ichii art is from the real life, the special dramatic color of local life and the resonance of the region difference. Furthermore, folk consiciousness and affection in painting works about ichii directly expresses both Chinese folk's social, ideological and artistic, enriched the presentation method of folklore, continues and develops the vitality of Chinese folk culture.On the other hand, my papers focus on Shanghai, a city combines Chinese and western cultures, and also different cultures from various regions in China. Starting from Shanghai Folk Trilogy, through the conversation with senior intellectuals and together with my own painting works, my papers makes a positive explore and brand new try to the inheritance and innovation, development and protection of Shanghai ichii culture.The last part of my papers analyses the Shanghai folk culture implied by the Shanghai ichii arts from the view of folk culture and looks into the future of the Shanghai ichii painting works. Shanghai ichii painting arts, as one part of Shanghai culture industry, has the quite significance to the city development. The inheritance and development of Shanghai folk culture directly bears its future development. Because of its diversity and innovative, Shanghai folk culture proposes a higher request to the topic selection and the painter's professionalism. Besides, the lifestyle and thought sentiment of shanghai people and diverse fold taste displayed by shanghai folk painting, takes shape of very deep masses basis, and forecasts the parallel development of traditional folk art and modern painting.Between tradition and modern, with rich emotional connotation and profound folklore vaule, ichii painting arts will has greater development and farther continuation in China's further art works.
