During the 2008,the film "Kung Fu Panda" which comes from Hollywood made a bigsuccess in the world market, and in the panda's home– China,most of people like it. "KungFu Panda" is a very perfect example that the Hollywood absorb from Chinese culture andlearn from it, and this film made a good deal with our national culture between the popularculture, it is a very meaningful and worthful case need we learn, so this thesis made the film"Kung Fu Panda" into the analysis from Intercultural communication.With the affect of cultural globalization,transnational media,consumerism and otherfactors,the film's Intercultural communication has become an inevitable trend,which is alsoan important factor that "Kung Fu Panda" got a so big success all of the world. In this paper.In this paper, the British cultural studies scholar Stuart ? Hall's encoding / decoding theory beused into "Kung Fu Panda", and the theory analysis the film in-depth of Chinese elements, sowe understand the Hollywood how use the Panda China's image in the film. In this filmChinese elements into the mainstream of American values and generally welcomed by theworld audience.Meanwhile, the second coding theory was the extends of the encoding anddecoding theory and the second coding theory was the film "Kung Fu Panda" how theelements of cross-cultural communication in China has done a very good comment.Intertextuality, cultural identity is also supporting the theory of film to complete the importanttheory of intercultural communication, from the perspective of the audience to explain the"Kung Fu Panda" in the process of cross-cultural communication. Finally, the use of culturallocalization theory and Hall's high context / low context theory of Chinese film'scross-cultural communication of proposed countermeasures to promote the Chinese film thepace of cross-cultural communication.
