Aesthetic Studies Of Contemporary Visual Culture

At the present times a variety of visual culture phenomenon of the academic community has attracted a wide range of academic and theoretical researches and discussions. What is the most important character of contemporary visual culture is going to be indicated by further Aesthetic studies.There are three parts in this paper state that contemporary visual culture studies. Firstly, begin with the explanation of human's instinct vision we have a discussion about the way of vision, visual culture's basic comprehension and the present state of research. Also by introducing the theory vision essentialism of scholar Mieke Bal from Holland, it indicates that contemporary visual culture's comprehension way of research and purpose. The second part is about Aesthetic studies of visual culture. Under the influence of human's physical work, variation of aesthetic distance and transformation of aesthetic circumstances, how visual Aesthetic culture develop is the most concern in this part. Thirdly, giving a definition of visual literacy it states the relationship between visual literacy and media literacy, cultivation of aesthetic.
