In this study,526 poor students in Henan conducted Chinese Values Questionnaire,Esteem scale and Subjective well-being scale, including 282 boys,244 girls. It focues on these problems:1,overall state and various demographic variable differences on poor students values, self-esteem and Subjective well-being; 2,relationships among values of poor students, self-esteem and Subjective well-being; 3,try to build a model with the three issues. This research has reaehed the following conclusions:1.All subjects get the highest score on the Money/Power, followed by Public Interest subscales, the lowest score on the Prestige subscales;2.Regardless of gender, all subjects's score on SWB from high to low is relationship satisfaction, friendship satisfaction, self-satisfaction, and positive emotions is higher than negative emotions scores;3.Overall, all the poor students have a high level of self-esteem;4.Boys have a very significantly higher score than girls in terms of Money /Power,Prestige achievement subscales;5.Fourth-grade students' ambitions in Conformity, Money/Power were significantly higher than the other three grades;the fourth-grade students feel more happiness than the other three grades on most areas,but the Academic Satisfaction; Graduating students' self-esteem level is the highest;6.The economic level affects the level of self-esteem, also partly descides the SWB.In other words,the more money,more confidence;the more money,more hapiness;but poor students are more satisfied with environment and life than riches.7.The score of Engineering students>Science students>Arts students;8.The values,self-esteem and subjective well-being of poor college students manifest significant correlations with each other。...
