The purpose of the research was to find out development trait of middle school students' perceived social support, self-esteem and moral values, and investigate the relationship among these three aspects. In sample of 1154 middle school students, using interview and questionnaire investigation method, following conclusions were found:(1) One self-compiled questionnaire is the Moral Values Questionnaire. It includes requite, equality, responsibility, frankness, altruism and self-crucial. The reliability and validity are good. It can be used for measuring middle school students' moral values.(2) The other self-compiled questionnaire is the Perceived Social Support Questionnaire. It includes three sub-questionnaires (father, mother and the teacher) which are all one dimension questionnaire to express the contentment degree. The reliability and validity are good. It can be used for further researching.(3) The middle school students' moral values are overly positive, but it has a low mark on responsibility and altruism which should be paid more attention. The middle school students' perceived social support is generally good, but it has a significant difference from support by the teacher. The middle school students' self-esteem is generally good.(4) City, grade and gender difference among moral values and perceived social support are found; City and Grade difference among self-esteem are found, but gender difference does not exist. Grade two in high school is an important transition point of the middle school students' moral values.(5) There is a positive correlation between perceived social support and moral values, and which also exist between self-esteem and moral values.(6) Both perceived social support and self-esteem can predict moral values directly. In addition, perceived social support can predict moral values through self-esteem as mediator effect indirectly.
