Study On The Land Develop And Arrange Management Information System Based On Component Technologies In Country

Geographic Information System (GIS) is a special field of Information Technologies (IT) . It plays a more and more important role in the information age we are now creating. Traditional GIS software can neither completely meet the demands of applications, nor keep pace with the mainstream of software technologies. Components GIS, briefly called ComGIS, is a new generation of GIS based on Components Software and Component-Based Development technologies. On the basis of the study on ComGIS ,the author develops the Land Develop and Arrange Management Information System(LDAMIS) based on component technologies.First of all , the essay discusses the development GIS software technologies ,the challenge which traditional GIS faces, the actuality and trends of ComGIS , and puts forward to use component-based development technologies to develop software so as to meet the demand of land managementIt is also noted that the essay expatiates software technologies concerning Components-Based Development which include Components Object Model (COM), Distributed Components Object Model (DCOM), Objects Linking and Embedding (OLE), as well as ActiveX, and analyzes the application of these technologies in GIS.Moreover, the essay introduces correlative content about ComGIS, which include the characteristic of ComGIS ,programmer and develop about ComGIS some ComGIS software tools inside and outside country , and a ComGIS software tool MapInfo MapXFinally, the essay introduces the Land Develop and Arrange Management Information System which integrate with Visual Basic and MapInfo MapX .The content includes design of object ,structure ,function and database . In addition, the author expatiates the design of special database and attribute database in detail ,and introduces the application of the Land Develop and Arrange Management Information System in JiangYing land management bureau in JiangSu province.
