Ths paper summanzes the histoiy, present condition, category and characteristic of the Tradational Manufacturing Belt. Based on the study, the author pointed that the ur- gent problems are the proportion of secondary industry especiaily manufacturing industry is too much; environment is seriously polluted; the built area and natural space isn抰 prop- ortion; the life condition isn?t comfortable, natural and convenient. All of these aren?t benefit to establish hannonious relations between human being and nature. At the same time, in people?s mind, the Manufacturing Belt is just an area where secondary industry are gathering, argraclture and tluirdaty industry are not important, these bind the speed of development, so the first step of the Appmching Manufucturing Belt?s development is to change people?s sense and build up the fusion of uilian and raral area which incoporates product and life. In the Approaching Manufacturing Belt, forest, factaries, fields and gardens, schools etc. are distributed rationally and shape up tranquil, sweet, harmonious envimnient; People live, work and spend their free time just like drifting clouds and wild storks; As gradually eliminate the distinction between mental and manual labour, people are much fairer and happier; As the production and technologe develop at top speed, there are little and little waste material, people will be free from pollution. Based on these, we can see the Approching Manufucturing Belt is the ideal model of people?s life and the ensure of sastuational development. So the author analysed the way on which to buile up Chinese Approaching Manufucturing Belt, in order to give some ideas for our country?s development. At last, taking E - Dong Manufacturing Belt as an example, the auther expoanded this conclusion. The main content of this paper containted fiye aspects. (1 )The Manufacturing Belt not only be an area where manufacturing industry gathering, but also an area which is good for life, so the study of it must be based on the unify of economic, society and ecol- ogv. Based on the time and space dimensions of the development to research it. (2) The Approaching Manufacturing Belts are compound svstens which are set up on the fusion of urban and mi-al areas, included the space, nature and society. (3) The urgent problem of today?s Tmdational Manufacturing Belt is how to make new progress order to come up with the world?s improve. (4) The key of Manufacturing Belt?s development is making synthetical study and developing intellectual economic. (5) The elemental organizes of Manufacturing Belt are enterpnses, so n order to study the spacial structure, one must study the interaction of different enterprises no meter they are in the Manufacturing Belt or not.
