A Study On PDM Application In Non- Manufacturing

Product Data Management (PDM) is a technology based on information technology, focusing on product and integrating and managing all of the information related to product .PDM technology is one of the fastest developing technologies in CIMS domain in recent years and is a indispensable tool for enterprise information.Firstly, the base theory of Product Data Management is introduced; the conditions of the application and the studies at home and abroad are analyzed.Secondly, the extension of the Application of PDM in non-manufacturing is analyzed. The author studied concretely the management characteristics and product data of the corporation, such as supplying electricity, water, heat, and etc. Putting forward that the design of product supplying system and the management of equipment is the core of PDM system in non-manufacturing.Lastly, the thesis is based on PDM in water and electricity factory of Oil Field of North China, analyzing the needing of management of the corporation, designing the database of the system and developing the PDM system based on Web technology.The innovation of the thesis is putting forward the sort of trade fitting the extension of PDM system in non-manufacturing, and studied exhaustively the application of PDM in a sort of non-manufacturing, which has the characteristics of complex manufacturing and continuing supplying.
