A Research On The Source Of Economic Growth In Jangsu Province

As we are known, capital, labor and industrial structure regulating are three important factors. Since 1978, the increasing speed of Chinese economics have been being so far, that many economists are interested in analyzing and measuring the growing source of China. Jangsu is one of developed provinces in China, the growing source and the way of its economics are typical, so researching of them is very significant. The main goal of this thesis is to study the source of economic growth in Jangsu. The thesis consists of four parts: The first part (Chapter 1) retrospectes the development of economic growth theory and the recent study of growing source. Furthermore, the basic theoretical frame isi founded. The second part (Chapter 2) concisely describes the historical period of economic growth of Jangsu, from 1978 to 1999, and it is divided into 3 periods according to different growth characteristics. This part compares among south, middle and north of Jangsu for similarities and differences. The third part (Chapter 3,4) is the body of this thesis. It systematically researches the source of economic growth in Jangsu. On one way, this part analyses the growing source from the angle of investment. On the other way, it does from the angle of industrial structure regulation. The last part (Chapter 5) bases on the above analysis, puts forward certain proposals of real practice.
