With the coming of economy globalization and knowledge economy era and the appearance of global manufacturing, traditional management system and operation pattern of enterprises seem out of place under the new circumstances. Traditional business process of enterprises was made on the basis of elaborately divided and simple work and specification, with the corresponding enterprise organization structure pyramid-shaped, which featured as multi-level and multi-branch. Under such structure, the limited human resources and time were wasted on the coordinating work that couldn't create value, as a result of which, the enterprise was low in efficiency and lack in competence. To face up to the challenges forwarded by new circumstances and to achieve development forenterprises under new condition, the reengineering of business iTprocess and organization structure is especially essential.In the latest decade, those in management theory circle of the developed countries advanced new idea of business process reengineering, which made business process the reform target and key factor, emphasized on breaking the demarcation line between different specification departments and considered the continuity and validity of a process, with process other than specification departments as the management target of production and operation. But with the appearance of new management pattern of supply chain and its wide implication, the circumstances needed by supply chain pattern is different from that needed by other patterns. This paper, according to the environment features of supply chain, made a research on the reengineering of business process and organization structure.The paper, on analysis of supply chain, firstly pointed out that anenterprise on supply chain could peel off its business not at the core, while give it to other on-chain enterprises. After selecting the core business, the enterprise should rebuild business process, making the new process more consecutive, the demarcation line between processes more vague and the production of the process more multiple. Then the paper explained that, in order to suit the rebuilt business process, the enterprise should also make an adjustment to its structure. It should change the traditional structure, which made work division according to different work and made department division according to different specification, into a flat or netlike structure. The newly built structure will help improve communication among employees and release their personality and creative power. It can avoid the malady of hierarchy system in organization while help to improve the operation efficiency of business process and to foster and develop the enterprise's core competence. In the end, the paper put forward some reasonable suggestions for China's enterprises to implement the reengineering of business process and organization structure under supply chain.
