The Analysis Of Development Of Chinese International Cities And Metroplexes

What I discuss in this article is the development of Chinese international cities and metroplexes Which belong to the macro urban development strategy. In the introduction, I put forward two questions , namely the questions of urban internationalization and pushing the urbanization, that must be solved during the urban development course. Afterwards I explain the status quo and my review of the studies on Chinese urban development strategy , my study methods and the article's logical structure.The study of the development of Chinese international cities and metroplexes can be divided into two parts. In the first part which includes chapter 2 and chapters, I am mainly concerned about the way that Chinese cities should take during the development course. The status quo and tendency of global urbanization were explained in chapter 2 and the status quo and tendency of urban development of China were shown in chapter 3. Based on the former studies and the two questions, the development strategy of Chinese international cities and metroplexes is advanced. In the second part, namely chapter 4, 1 focus on the main targets of the strategy which include building up 5 international cities , 5 international metroplexes and 6 national metroplexes. At the end of the article ,the strategy is summarized.The innovations of the study are the following points:1. My researching on the concept and content of international city and advancing the basic conditions and the sufficient conditions of building up international city.2. Analysing the future international cities in middle and western part of China, proving that Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Wuhan and Chongqing will be the international cities of China based on the quantitative analysis and figu -ring out when these cities will be international cities.3. Researching on the definition of metroplex and advancing the division of 11 metroplexes.
