Area between city and countryside is a peculiar economic and geographic unit. Affected by city and countryside, it is an spreading fast area of the city's development. It provides foundation and service for the run and development of city. In the case of the city of Shijiazhuang, using certain mathematics formulas and considering the spreading tendency and specific situation, it divided the idiographic scope and discussed the main features. Such as, loose areas, varieties, too much traffic entrance, lower land price and automatic transition and so on. It is the base of farm production, avocation, and storage. It can evacuate the city's function. And it is the fence of the city. It has three belts in land use, such as inside, middle and outside. The use of land changes rapidly and land price raises fast. On the basis of those, choosing the classification element and using the methods of income reduction and cost approach, this paper has calculated the land price. From the theory and means, the paper has made a research inquiring into the land price about the area between city and countryside and analyzed regularity of the land level and the feature of the land price. These will distinct the property right and income of the land, and standard the market of land realize the healthy development of the areas between city and countryside.This paper mainly brings forth three new ideas. First, it divides the idiographic scope of the area between city and countryside. It considered the spreading tendency and the long-range layout of the city and the idiographic situation of the area between city and countryside. Some experts and scholars have discussed areas between city and countryside, but no one divided the idiographic boundary about it. Second, as defined factors of rank and grade, it chose the factors affecting the city andcountryside. Finally, at the ways of evaluating land price, it spread the using scope of the profit, cost, and rating of reduction in the method of income reduction and the exploitation expenses of the land, the tax in the method of cost approach. There were not any studies of land price about the area between city and countryside. And this paper attempted some explore about these three aspects.
