Research On Regional Land Use And Land Cover Change And Associated Effects On Eco-Environmental--A Case Study In The Western Taihang Mountain Area Of Shijiazhuang City

Land use is the social activity that people utilize and transform land resources to obtain materials of production and living on certain purpose.With the growth of population and economy, the range of land use becomes bigger and bigger, the form also becomes more duplicated. So it's effect on environment is fiercer nowadays than at any time before. The effect on regional ecological environment of land use / land cover is the key territory of present research. It not only has important values in the theory but also can instruct the sustainable utilization and ecological environmental construction.This paper made a quantitative analysis on mode, process, regional character of change of land use, based on the research of land use and land cover, by means of RS and GIS, according to the RS data information of 1987 and 2000 in Taihang Mountain in the west of Shijiazhuang. The thesis reflected dynamic spatial and temporal characters of different land use types, spatial pattern evolvement and regional difference. Then analyzed the regional ecological environmental effect of different land use, such as land for construction, agriculture, traveling and wetland. The paper took emphasis on the negative effect, illuminated the generated mechanism and its harm. Finally discussed the ecological environmental effect of the transformation of land use and land cover.The result indicated that: First, the transformation between plantation, woodland and grassland acted chiefly in the dynamic change of land use and land cover. During this process, the amount of plantation and grassland reduced obviously, while the woodland increased distinctly. Second, the trend of improvement and deterioration of regional ecological environmental quality coexisted. The regional difference represented notably on the county level. The ecological effect of construction land (such as urban land, factory and mining) are thermal effect, concentrated pollution and its effect on the ambient. The opencast mining and abandoned gangue causedlarge amount of waste and destroy of resources, destruction of vegetation.The characters of ecological environmental effect of agricultural land are as follows: wide range and weak intensity. The main negative effects are soil and water erosion, soil pollution and vegetation succession and frequent natural disasters. Due to the centralization of travel fastigium and abnormal management of travel sites, the main negative effect of traveling land are: the high pressure on natural environment and ecosystem, the pollution of rubbish, water, atmosphere and vision, the abatement of biodiversity. Based on the analysis of Huangbizhuang Reservoir and Gangnan Reservoir, the paper indicated the ecological effects of wetland are the shortage, pollution and degeneration of water body.The innovative points of this paper are as follows: First, using the method of interpreting the image of typical fragile region in Taihang Mountain in the west of Shijiazhuang city, analyzed the dynamic change of land use and land cover during past 14 years. Second, applied the different effect of land use and land cover into the analysis of regional ecological environmental effect. Third, using the method of going deep research on typical region explored the ecological environmental effect of constructing land and wetland.
