The primary purpose of the education and management job is to improve combat capacity and accomplish the assignments, to which encouragement is an effective method. Establishing and perfecting the encouragement mechanism is an effective method to stress the ideological work and stimulate the enthusiasm and initiation of cadre, and an imperative way to provoke the latent energy. This article discussed the constituents of the mechanism, the primary factors of its building and the opportunity of its usage, analysed the primary principles of the mechanism's moving, and proposed the encouragement methods fitting to the reality of the job, according to the contemporary encouragement theory and on the base of its quintessences and closely surrounding the characteristic of the job in Army.It is the specific usage of the contemporary encouragement theory in the job,thereby the new encouragement mechanism in the education and management of cadre with the characteristic of Army is produced.
