The Study Of The Interactive Relationship Between Urbanization And Urban Modernization

Urbanization is the hot issue of the whole society. With the development of urbanization, the study on how to realize urban modernization is put on the agenda. Faced to the weak side of all the studies on urbanization, this thesis discusses the interactive relationship between urbanization and urban modernization. The main contents can be read as following, using the historical, empirical and institutional analysis methods.The whole thesis includes theory analysis, empirical analysis and countermeasure analysis. In the theory analysis, the author introduces the connotation of urbanization and urban modernization and the relationship between them. The concept of urbanization in broad sense is an advancement compared with other related concepts.
