Guangzhou Shouxing Building

This paper is a case study of enterprise developing strategy . The case concludes the situations of more than one thousand old people in Guangzhou Shouxing Building and the history of Shouxing Building's survival and development in geracomium industry for the last 3 years. Shouxing Building grew up quickly through cultivating competitive advantage at low costs , forth new ideas in the services and marketing . It has set up its goodwill and obtained good economic returns and social effects.In the second part , the paper analyzes the status of aging population in China , the supporting model and trend for the aged people in city , the characteristics of geracomium industry, the factors to Shouxing Building's success . With the five forces model of competition developed by Michael Porter , this article also analyzes systematically and objectively the external environment of the enterprise, the competitive rivals and trends . At the end , on the basis of the strength , weakness , opportunity , and threats of the enterpise acquired from the analysis with SWOT model, the paper gives the developing strategies for Shouxing Building's future success .
