The Study For MRP-Ⅱ System Structure And Its Planning Information Layer

MRP-â…¡ (Manufacturing Resource Planning) system is the combo of management science and information technology. It evolves from MRP (Material Requirement Planning) to Loop MRP step by step. MRP-â…¡ system provides enterprise with overall solution. It is an important way of promoting management level and building up competition force of enterprise.In the paper, base on the introduction of Contemporary Integrated Manufacturing System (CIMS)and MRP-â…¡, which play an important part in QMS, and its influence on CIMS, both theoretical basis and fundamental function framework of MRP-â…¡ have been investigated, including its system structure and basic module. Through studying Planning Information module, the important part of MRP-â…¡ ,including MPS(master production scheduling), MRP(material requirement planning)and CAP(capacity planning),the operation model of planning information has been discussed. The great role of MRP-â…¡ has played in enterprise information system. Finally, the development direction of MRP-â…¡ in the future and the combo of several advanced technologies in this field, have been debated.
