Compensation design is the prerequisite of setting up modern compensation management system and essential part of it. It is a very important subject that how to design and establish a set of scientific compensation management system according to the actual conditions of China, which can adapt to the need of the development of the enterprise and promote in the knowledge economy and economic globalization. Proceeding from basic theory of the compensation management, this paper deeply analyze the compensation system of Guangdong Long-Distance Telecom Company and put forward the company's tentative plans for the reform of compensation management system to solve some problems of the system so as to make it more rational and reasonable.This paper first discuss the basic theory of the compensation management and study its meaning, functions, influence factors and basic design principles. Then the compensation system of Guangdong Long-Distance Telecom Company is analyzed in depth. Last, On the basis of such analysis, the company's tentative plans for the reform of compensation management systems is put forward to solve some problems of the system according to the needs of the realistic situation of management.
