A series of changes have occurred in the investment banking headquarters of NS Securities Company since implementing the performance wage system in 2000. On one hand, the company have attracted a lot of talents and activated the employee's enthusiasm. Meanwhile, the bad business situation of investment banking has been turned around, and the corporate business achievement has been improved greatly in the large; On the other hand, it made the internal relationship tended to be tense. Surrounding this scheme, there have some violent controversies between the other department VS the headquarters of investment banking and from the internal of investment banking. The performance wage system of the investment banking headquarters has come to a crossroad.Base on the principles of designing for the wage scheme, this article makes use of the theory of wage and prompt, and combines with the features of the China's Securities Market, the practical status of Investment banking headquarters of NS Securities Company to analyse the new performance wage system in depth. With analysis of which, it states that the performance wage system plays a positive role to the development of investment banking's business and makes it obtain the competitive edge. However, it does have some shortcomings still to be improved further. In conclusion, this article proposes relevant specific suggestions on basis of those shortcomings.
