This is a thesis for MBA, which was written in the form of case. The author tried to show his knowledge, that especially on strategic management, of MBA through the thesis.The thesis divides into three parts: the case proper, the analysis of the case and the appendices. In the case proper, it is described truly that the present situations of Telecom Business in China and Nanshan Telecom Company Limited, including their commercial environment, technology of telecom, strengths, weaknesses and problems. In the analysis of the case, the situations are analyzed with strategic management theory, such as Porter Five-force Model, competitive core abilities and so on. And then the strategic thinking to adapt the changes of strategic situation is given, which is based on the analysis above. In the appendices, some materials are given to help understand and use the case.
