This text is divided into two parts.The first part is the case description.In this part, we mainly describe the history and actuality of the Zhilan company, preliminarily put forward our consideration of Zhilan Company' s strategic thinking mode and strategic management mode in the globalization times.The second part is the analysis of the case.Firstly, we demonstrate that the globalization of Chinese herbal medicine industry is inevitable and feasible, and analysis the characteristics and development trend of the world' s and Chinese medicine industry, particularly the development trend, opportunity and challenge that the Chinese herbal medicine industry currently has, and the opportunity, challenge, advantages and disadvantages of Zhilan company faces.Then, we discuss the strategy Zhilan company should choosein the globalization times----differentiation strategy. Wepoint out that the differentiation strategy is the mainstream for the Chinese herbal medicine industry to develop in the globalization times. We analysis the bases that Zhilan company choose this strategy, and bring forward some policies Zhilan company could take to implement the strategy.
