Of this Paper mainly involved are the Strategies of Operation of the SME (Small & Middle sized Enterprises) in Tourism Industry. Based on the detailed analysis of Characters of SMEs, the writer demonstrated the importance and necessity of the appreciated Strategy of Operation, and pointed out which Strategy of Operation should be adopted for the SME in the tourism Industry. This Paper consists of 7 Parts.Of the Chapter 1 are the basic concepts of the Tourism and Tourism Industry to be introduced, in order to let the reader understand the background of the Industry better. In the Part 2 the situation of the Macroeconomic of the Industry has been described with help of the data analysis, especially the Sichuan province is taken as a Example to be observed and studied. In the following Part 3 it is getting into detailed analysis of the Internal Environment of the SME, and the characters of Tourism Industry, such as Industry scale, Output of Market, Structure of HR Resource, Development, furthermore analyzed the character of the Industry and Businesses also. It laid the foundation for the Decision-making of the Strategy of Operation in the Part 4. Of the Part 4, as the most important Part of this Paper, has analyzed the different Selections of the Strategy of Operation and their respective conditions to be carried out, and considered that the Focus-on Strategy and the Differentiation Strategy are the two best Chances for SME, and also provided some suggestions on how to carry out the Strategy. Besides it has mentioned the connected Strategies, which provided the support for the Strategy of Operation and formed a System of Strategies in a SME together. In the Part 5 the Writer has discussed the Key Competition Ability aimed at the SMEs in the Tourism Industry, and interpreted the Factors of the Key Competition Ability and how to develop and build the Key Competition Force in a SME.After the Theoretical Demonstration and Description it studied an Enterprise of the Tourism Industry as a case, proved further why should a SME consider the Strategy of Operation and how to make the decision. At end of the Paper it drew conclusion, and emphasized the Focus-On and Differentiation Strategies were the proper ways to develop the SME self in the Tourism Industry, and also expressed the thankfulness for the help during the Paperwriting .The Structure of the Paper is established based on the order from External Environment, including the Macroeconomic and Industry Conditions, to Internal Environment of SME. The train of the demonstration thought went according to this procedure: Problem Finding-Problem Analysis - Theory Support -Solution Analysis-Case study -Drawing Conclusion. In this Paper the writer believed that the SME would have a big future when they could make the decision properly and carry out the selected strategy consistently...
