After entering the 21st century,the construction enterprises in our country are facing a dramatically changed social environment-:Quick developing scientific technology,globalized economy,and the new impact of the world knowledge-based economy. After joining in the WTO,the construction corporations in our country are particularly facing more vehement international and local competitions. The competition of the modern corporations after all is a competition of human resource. Therefore,whether does the construction enterprises adopt efficient strategic human management to improve their own competition ability,it is the key point which they can get predominance in the competition while facing the impact of the big tide of knowledge-based economy and the vehement international competition.At present,the general character level of our building construction troops is relatively low,still far away from the requirement of the development of building industry. After entering the WTO to melt into the international market,the problem of structural shortage of human resource,narrow knowledge,relatively low general character level,lack of complex-talented personnel will be exposed in our construction troops. But foreign construction enterprises have the obvious technique advantage. Its efficient talented person using mechanism and high salary will be a great attraction to the local business enterprise elitists,which will make local construction enterprises be confronted with high pressure of losing talented personnel.This paper starts constructions from the difficult environment and the great challenge our countries business enterprises are facing,and also the current status of human resource in these enterprises,with the methods of literature searching,theoretically studying and actual case analysis. On the foundation of this theory frame,this paper did researches on the following problems- inviting applications for a job in construction enterprises,education and training,achievements management,encouragement for outstanding persons,salary management,and human resource management,and will analyze how these facts will influence the rivalrousness of the enterprises.The content of each chapter as following:Chapter 1 IntroductionWith the development of world economy,this kind of human-based economy brings up new demands for the human resource management. On the base of analysis of our current human resource situation,this chapter focused studies on it and brought forward the human resource management problems existing in our business enterprises,and explained the necessity and emergency of preceding the theory study and case analysis of the human resource management in construction enterprises. I also made a conclusion for the whole paper and constructed the research frame for the human resource management of construction enterprises in this chapter.Chapter 2 Review on human resource management of enterprises in U.S. and JapanWith the human resource management characteristics in U.S. and Japan as modes,this chapter reviewed the world advanced experiences on human resource exploring and managing,also compared and evaluated the human resource managements in these two countries. I also briefly presented characteristic of practicing human resource management in our country. After entering the 21st century,the exploring and managing of human resource in our country showed up a new trend of internationalizing. Many enterprises are practicing a new mode that has absorbed the advantages from both American and Japanese modes.Chapter 3 The talented person recruitment,education,and performance management in construction enterprisesThe talented person recruitment,education,and performance management are important constitutions in human resource management. The talented person recruitment is divided into interior and exterior,I compared and analyzed the advantage and shortage of both kinds of inviting,and also studied the way of inviting and selecting project manager in this chapter.
