The Third Party Logistics (TPL) is a new logistics form, which presents itself in the developing process of logistics theory and practice. It is an outcome of logistics specialization and integration. Along with the development of economy globalization and the new markets, more and more companies tend to use services supplied by the third party. After more than ten years' development, the TPL markets have put up the characteristics with high potential, high increment speed. Based on forecast, the Third Party Logistics will be the main logistics form in 21 century.From the TPL enterprise's research of view, this article, based on systematically expounding basic theory of TPL, analyzes three primal problems in the operation of TPL. And according to the development of Chinese TPL, this paper puts forward proposals for the Industry of Chinese TPL. The content:1. This article systematically expounds basic theory of TPL, including: probing the definition of TPL, analyzing economic cause and value of existence.2. According to the relationship between TPL and client enterprise, and the relationship between TPL and supplier, the paper analyzes cooperative relationship problems in the operation of TPL.3. This article probes problems of cost control in the operation of TPL, and brings up the effective measure to control the logistics cost.4. This paper analyzes obstruction of external information in the operation of TPL, and constructs logistics information system of TPL enterprise, according to operational particularity of the operation of TPL.5. Based on analyzing the present situation of the operation of Chinese TPL, This paper probes the measure to develop our country's TPL.
