The Study On The Logistics Mode Of E-commerce

As a brand-new commercial operational way, E-commerce provides us with a completely new method to manage business transactions. Moreover, it may turn to potential power to promote the economic growth of the whole world. China is a developing country and the development of E-commerce is at the beginning of the stage. While E-commerce develops very quickly in China, but a series of problems emerge at the same time, including network technology, paying on the net, policies and regulations, logistics distribution etc. What' s more, logistics is the most difficult to deal with among them. For the enterprises involved in E-commerce, decisions about logistics depend on different situations. In these decisions, the choice of the mode should be considered at first.On the basis of the advanced experience from developed countries and China's actual situation, this paper analyses three modes of logistics through several typical cases. That is, self-operational logistics, out-sourcing logistics and logistics alliance. Sticking to the Labor-division theory, the mode of out-sourcing logistics prevails over the other two modes internationally. But for the lag development of logistics in China, it is feasible for adopting self-operational logistics and set up alliance in logistics. So there exist a number of solutions for logistics. After analysis the current decision-making methods of logistics modes, the author put forward two decision-making model, one based on the logistics strategy of enterprise, the other based on the method named AHP. As a whole, this paper' s research will be conducive to choose the modes of logistics for Chinese enterprises.
