Study On Domestic And Foreign Legal Countermeasures Against Crime Of International Terrorism

The international terrorism has become an international problem seriously endangering the peach and development of the world. All the countries and organizations are more and more aware of the harmfulness of international terrorism and upgrade the struggle against the same to the legal level at the same time of promoting the political suppression and military attack thereof. At this stage, legal measure is very important and effective as against international terrorism and it is hence necessary to carry out comprehensive and elaborate study on domestic and foreign legal countermeasures against the crime.This thesis includes four parts. The first part is the general description of the international terrorism, which mainly focuses on the basic theory issues of international terrorism, such as the concept, constitutive elements, historical reference and category thereof. The second to the forth parts are the main body of this thesis. The author mainly takes the comparative study technique in the second part to compare among the legal measures adopted by influential western countries. The author demonstrates the necessity and method of international cooperation in this scope by commenting on two international conventions against international terrorism in the third part. The author, by analyzing the status quo of the domestic legislation and absorbing and referring to the foreign legislation and relevant conventions, puts forward the suggestion on legislation in this connection in the fourth part.
