Education of thought and politics, an activity of an object concerning persons, is one of the most important social activities in practice. The relation between the educators and the educatees is of that of subject and object. A good master of the scientific connotation of and the relation between the subject and the object and the time-space characteristics plays an important role in fulfilling the task of education of thought and politics. In this article, the author, based on the review of the process for studying the subject and the object in education of thought and politics, explores the essentials of the subject and the object in education of thought and politics by analyzing the time-space characteristics of the subject and the object in education of thought and politics and the important effect on the practice of education of thought and politics. The full text is composed of the following three parts:1. The essence of the subject and the object in education of thought and politics: The education of thought and politics is a complicated process of practice. It is the premise to study the essence and special characteristics of education of thought and politics to distinguish the education of thought and politics from other practical activities so as to avoid deviating the target for the education of thought and politics.2. Time-space characteristics in the relation between the subject and the object in education of thought and politics: The subject is closely related with the object, and the relation exists in a certain time-space environment. To cognize and master the dialectical relation between the subject and the object in education of thought and politics is of important significance in avoiding the deficiency in research of thesubject and the object in education of thought and politics. The main characteristics of the relation between the subject and the object are: potentiality, dependence, consistency and periodicity.3. The practical significance of the characteristics of time-space relation between the subject and the object in education of thought and politics: It is actually a practical existence. To conduct active research of the characteristics of time梥pace relation between the subject and the object in education of thought and politics is helpful to provide important basis for the long-term education of thought and politics. The significance of the time-space characteristics of the relation between the subject and the object mainly include: enhancing first-position concept so as to realize the importance of education of thought and politics; clearly understanding the trainees so as to improve the effects of education of thought and politics; improving the quality of the subjects so as to enforce the interactivity of education of thought and politics; overcoming the shortcomings of rashness so as to embody the process of education of thought and politics; maintaining the consistency of education of thought and politics so as to meet the social requirements.
