Regarding the engineering project management ad core, the system of production management and administration has been formed. The cost control are the central content of the management of project. Project cost management is becoming the main symbol and necessary content for the construction enterprise to develop highly. Studying the cost management has important practical significance for improving investment system reform and accelerating construction enterprise to contact with the international advanced level.Engineering project cost management gets to its fixed goal mainly through the activities of technology, economy and management. During the enforcement, cost is supervised and controlled strictly by taking a series of measures. Deviation is corrected and experience is summed up on time in order to accomplish the project management goal. The author has particularly studied the cost management and control processes.On the base of continuously improving investment system reform, construction enterprise aims at meeting the client's requirement for the building products and creating best economy. Strengthening cost management and control is an important method to ensure enterprise's benefits and improve enterprise's managing performance and society fame. However, because of the limitations of people's idea and the actual using level of management science in construction area, we should go deep into the realities of life and take measures to improve the existing problems in cost management and control which need to be studied.
