A Breakthrough On Mt Wudang's Tourism Development Situation

With the quick increase of national economy, the years the tourist trade develops enormously like the bamboo shoots after the spring rain .Especially due to the enhancement of Chinese WTO membership and the fast process of economic globalization ,to make full use of resources in order to develop economy and to enhance the quick development of areas economy has become the important research subjects for all ministries and departments .As the famous Taoist shrine, the well-known scenic spot and the world culture heritage, Mt.wudang distinguishes itself for the unique , attractive natural scene ,magnificent ancient buildings profound Taoist culture and magical Wudang Boxing ,thus is praised as "the only famous scenic spot from time immemorial down to the present day ,the first celestial mount in the world " Mt. Wudang is superior to other Chinese mount scenic spots in its abundant tourist resources .But the resource advantage is just one of the basic factors for developing tourist trade and it doesn't mean the product advantage ,not even the economic advantage .Only the resource is further exploited .Packed and the products are cultivated and improved in quality ,do the products appeal to the market and re-create the resource's economic advantage .As for Mt. Whdang , in order to speed up its development of tourist economy, we must depend firmly on its resource advantage and know clearly about the difficulties and shortcomings in our management of Mt. Wudang's tourism .From the state and the world points of view , we should choose the right subject of our work on exploiting Mt. Wudang ,we should make the tourist resource rationally exploited and continuously developed so as to transform the resource advantage into the economic advantage ,hence realize the breakthrough in developing the tourist economy of Mt. Wudang .This dissertation entitled "A Breakthrough on Mt Wudang's tourism development situation." attempts to analyze the features of Mt. Wudang's resource, its advantages ,the present situation as well as its problems and shortcomings .Further more , it probes into the ways that can make a breakthrough in development of Mt. Wudang tourist economy . First of all, from these factors as Mt. Wudang's resources, its location, its transportation improvement and the enhancement of important projects, it analyzes the advantages of Mt. Wudang tourism development and challenges it confronts. The next in order ,with comparison to other mount scenic spots in China, it makes researches into the disparities and problems of the work on protecting, managing and exploiting Mt. wudang. Finally Based on the resourceadvantages, in view of the existing problems, it investigates the measures to quicken the development of Mt Wudang tourist trade ;emphasizing eight views as the following.First of all, in order to quicken its development ,we must make the management system work well .In view of the facts that the functions are not clear, the duties and rights are mixed, the management is divided into several parts, a proper authoritative administration should be made.Secondly, in order to quicken its development, a managing system which is fit for the development of market economy must be constructed, As for the management of Mt. Wudang .the government mainly offers directions while the enterprises manage. At the same time, we must regroup the assets of Mt. Wudang tourist enterprises. Put forward the group management of tourist enterprises, and improve its comprehensive competing strength by means of scaled management.Thirdly, in order to quicken its development, we must carry a "famous band"strategy into practice .Relying on such distinctive resources as Wudang Boxing, the Taoist culture and the group of ancient buildings, we can create the Mt.
