The reasonable disposition of human resources is the guarantee of the long prosperity of enterprise. To carry out career management, and to have the staff grow with the enterprise, is the promotion of human resources. Upon analysis on the relevant career management theories and the insufficiency of career management of state-owned commercial banks, the thesis gives researches into the managing tactics of state-owned commercial banks.This paper consists of five chapters. Chapter 1 introduces the contents and significance of career management. Chapter 2 introduces the basic theories of career management, including the match of staff with positions, career orientation, career development, career anchor etc.. Chapter 3 analyzes the insufficiency and necessity of human resources management in state-owned commercial banks. Describe the challenges of state-owned commercial banks after joining of WTO. By the comparison and analysis of the techniques and successful managing example of foreign enterprise career management, chapter 4 gives enlightenment to domestic career management. Chapter 5 gives the proposals for career managing tactics of state-owned commercial banks under the situation of human resources management in state-owned commercial banks.
