The Compare Of Engineering Cost Management With Britain And China

In new century, the reform of project management system is in progress in China, including engineering cost management.With entrance into WTO and the impact of incorporated global economy, China will accept or close with the international traditions and experience of project management, which values by market. With this force, it is required to find the answer for how to deal with these problems.By suggested and directed by Prof Ren Hong, through collecting and cleaning up the date and information on engineering cost in China and Singapore, where Author has worked for two years. And author wrote this paper.Based on the reason as follows: Singapore is Britain colony, be part of Commonwealth of Nations, which project management system follows Britain, so the date and information collected in Singapore same as in Britain; And Prof Ren Hong studied in Britain as Doctor, He is familiar with the project management system in Britain and Prof Cong worked in Construction committee, familiar with the system in China.From the aspects of main body of management, measuring method and theory of engineering cost, the method of project management and management system of cost professional, author compared the engineering cost management with Britain and China and analyzed the difference, and achieved some experience and ideas.
