Since 21 century, especially for China entry into WTO, it is becoming the most challenging and key issue that how to strive to live and make a development in the global competition for the large scale state enterprises. The enterprise's equipment and its operation status make a great influence on its competition ability. spare parts management is one important part in equipment management, it will play great role on equipment status,and make a great influence on enterprise's competition ability.This thesis firstly analyses and studies on the modern equipment maintenance pattern. Spare parts are classified based on different equipment maintenance pattern.. It also analyses and discusses the features of various spare parts' storage and management corresponding to their maintenance pattern. It also covers the definite method to safe storage volume. According to the analysis on the order point method which is mainly used to manage material stocks for production, the relationship between the spare part demand plan and order point method is be established.That is to say, in the case of preventive maintenance pattern using the planned spare parts, they have a surprising similarity. So,order point method can be used to design the key software of spare parts dynamic management system. This thesis also introduces hardware and software system of Southwest Aluminium(group)Co.,Ltd's Intranet. Combined with practical experience in SWA, it studies on the design strategy for computer dynamic management of spare parts for large scale enterprises. It is a strategy between "thin client" and "fat client". The thesis also includes the study on software data structure of the spare parts dynamic management and introduces the software's interface and function. In addition, it explores the developing direction of computer dynamic management of spare parts and enterprise's network application. This subject and thesis is valued for reference and dissemination to the large scale enterprise similar to those in SWA.
