After entering the WTO, the economical, commercial and technological environment with which the domestic motor industry faces is changing dramatically. Like other domestic corporations, Chana corporation also confronts with unprecedented market competition pressure. In order to win in the competition and to accelerate the further development of Chana corporation, the urgent questions need to be solved are clear, i.e., how to take good use of IT to build the competitive intelligence system which based on the enterprise information platform and eventually use the system to serve the competitive strategies of the Chana corporation. This system has strategic meaning to the development of Chana.From the point of view of the basic principles of strategy management, and on the basis of analyzing the corporation competitive strategy, the tactics and their characteristics, the contents and the process of the competitive intelligence which can support the competitive intelligence of the strategy management are systematically studied, therefore, the design principles of the competitive intelligence system are expatiated from both function system and item system. Based on previous work, the demand analysis of Chana is made from the following four aspects: information demand, organization demand, technology demand and harmony demand. The framework of the competitive intelligence system is designed for Chana in this paper, the organization model, process model and the harmony model are also built. On the basis of discussing the general process of competitive intelligence analysis, combined with the actual situation and the strategic requirements, the constructive principles of competitive intelligence system, the market monitor intelligence system for Chana's motor products and the special competitive intelligence research system are put forward for Chana, all these systems are already put into practice, and the anticipative effects are obtained.
