First, the dissertation introduces the theory of competitive intelligence and competitive intelligence system, and discusses the character and function of current enterprise Competitive Intelligence System. Based on the general description of eCIS, the author puts forward the four driving force mechanism of Competitive Intelligence System. Furthermore, the condition of development of eCIS at home and abroad is discussed in detail. Then, the dissertation gives an overall plan model of eCIS. Based on the previous theory and practice, the author puts forward an innovative theory on .eCIS architecture and operation. The dissertation mainly discusses the theory from the point of architecture and operation of eCIS.On the discussion of architecture and operation of eCIS, the author puts forward eight-integrant theory and four-organism (four-subsystem) theory, namely, two hardwares, four guarantees, two databases, CI collection subsystem, CI analysis subsystem, CI evaluation subsystem and CI implementation subsystem.Furthermore, on the operation of eCIS, the author advocates the thought that CIO mechanism is adopted and "the Learning Competitive Intelligence System" is built. Finally, the dissertation explains the development trend of CIS. In the -epilogue, the author innovates the thought of "Macro-enterprise Competitive Intelligence SystenT(Macro-eCIS).In addition to the introduction and epilogue, the dissertation consists of five chapters: the general description of eCIS, the condition analysis and evaluation of development of current eCIS at home and abroad, the concrete implementation scheme of current eCIS architecture and operation, the development trend of eCIS in the future. 38,000 words, 28 charts and tables.
