In modern information society, Competitive intelligence is a managing tool aiming to meet market need and gain competition advantage, which was prevailed in 1990s and paid more attention. The paper analyzes how competitive intelligence promotes enterprises' competition in the methods of systemic analysis.The paper includes six parts. The first part is preface, introducing the creation, outline and main structure. The second part defines competitive intelligence, introduces its development. Basing on former researches, this part analyses the emphases and uncovered fields, and puts forward a new research method. The third part illustrates on the whole how competitive intelligence plays a role and explains competitive intelligence can make up the deficiency of limited ability of understanding by behavior theory of bounded rationality. It points out the part with more information gains advantage by information theory of asymmetric information, and competitive intelligence can add people's information substantively, which helps enterprises to be in favorable position. The fourth part analyses the advantages of the method by comparing with traditional information-collecting method and on the view of protecting confidential information. The fifth part introduces competitive intelligence is applied in business management and how competitive intelligence helps enterprise to realize benchmarking. The sixth part reviews the above illustration, draws a conclusion on the whole and prove competitive intelligence is an effective way to promote enterprises' competition.
