A Study On Forstering The Core Competence Of Sichuan Corporation

Corporations play an important role in the local economy, so it is necessary to enhance the competence of corporation. Core competence of corporation is the source of sustainable competitive advantage and a view and issue of theory and practice of modern corporation management, especially of strategic management .The paper firstly finds the theoretical origins of the core competence of corporation, and then systematically identifies its connotation and characteristics, working mechanism and measuring methods. Based on the theoretic framework of the core competence, the paper puts forward the conception of the relative core competence and the principle, approaches and steps for fostering the core competence of corporation.Connecting the theory of relative core competence of corporation, this paper qualitatively and quantitatively describes the present situation of core competence of Sichuan corporations and analyzes its causes, and then points out its fostering approaches by personal sources, innovation, corporation culture and exterior circumstance. The author hold that developing personal source is the basic of fostering core competence of Sichuan corporations, constructing modern corporation culture is it's soul, improving circumstance of service, law and funds is its exterior dependence and enhancing innovation is its major approaches.
