State-owned enterprises, which had rouge initiation and brilliant development, seem to come into the new regulative stage, because of heavy burden. When state-owned enterprises were carrying out social production, they also disbursed enormous social costs. But when social costs intimidated the survival of state-owned enterprises, the process of social costs' dissociation from state and enterprises' angle was slow and low efficient. Because the press of market competition is violent and the adjustment of domain structure can't be waited, state-owned enterprises must select one between marketable principle and social stabilization. The aspect of theory economics paid close attention to the social costs of state-owned enterprises early, but it only regarded the question as a isolated object, without roundly research from economical and social system's angle. At the same time, the research about state-owned enterprises' social costs from the angle of sociology was little. So I selected Wuhan J factory as an example. And from unit system and enterprise's institution and economic benefit relationship's angle, the essay analyzed the form and evolution of state-owned enterprises' social costs in social background. The part of conclusion indicated that we must treat differently the dissociation of state-owned enterprises' social costs. The pure reform of enterprise was useless, so we must roundly reform from different angle. The dissociation of state-owned enterprises' social costs was lengthy process, but it's a current which's not reverse.
