Study On Employment Of The Floating Population In Shanghai

With the development of the economy, more and more floating population come to large cities to hunt for job. Shanghai is one of the cities where many floating population chose to come. Taking Pudong New Area as an example to explore the employment structure, distribution, career transition, employment mode, career satisfaction of the economic floating population in Shanghai, and attempts to find out the problems in floating population employment, and gives the solutions to the problems. On the basis of analysis of floating population employment characteristics, putting forward that the number of floating population in Shanghai will increase in 2010 and the employment will focus on industry and service in suburb and countryside.
