The Countermeasure Research Of The Rail-girder Factory Of Panzhihua Steel-Iron Company's Quality Control

Today, steel products are meeting fierce competition in the world market including price and quality . All the steel companies are trying their best to meet the higher and newer quality demand through technology innovation, equipment improvement and products development . To meet the goal , the steel companies must take more measures in higher levels to carry out quality control.Quality control includes product quality control and operation quality control . Quality control goes from production process to non-production process . Production workers , management members and non- production staff are all involved in quality control . And quality control is dynamic and attaches great importance to prevention and future control.The thesis define quality control from ISO9000:2000: A large part of quality management devotes to meeting the demand of quality .In order to be more typical and practical , the theses pays more attention to analyzing the quality control of the Rail-girder Factory of Panzhihua Steel-Iron Company . The factory is a highly automatic and mechanized heavy rolling mill . It has been practicing a relatively effective quality control for about 20 years . The paper gives full description about its quality control , which is based on a great deal of production quality data from past years . Combining the present data and my 2-month on-the-spot research, I analyzed the disadvantages of its quality control and the deep reason . Then , from my experience and my knowledge , the paper offers four improvement countermeasure:First , Changing the present certificate to accord with the standard ISO9000:2000, recon structuring and improving its quality control level based on the idea of process control.Second , identifying the disadvantages in technology and equipment compared with the advanced foreign countries . The infrastructure needs to be improved . Considering the cost, location and the advance in the course of tech-remaking.Third , Realizing the automation and computerization of its quality management information system . Getting rid of sluggishness and reducing the obstructions appearing in the process of information conveying .Fourth , Establishing a set of motivation policies to mobilizing the positive activities in quality control, which should also be tailored to individuals .The paper tries its best to offer its analysis and improvement methods about quality control , which may be useful for our steel-iron companies to gain competitive advantages in the world market.
