The tour consume of people has become the culture product of tour that combined all kinds of functions, which has been changed from simple sightseeing to culture leisure and amusement in the 21st century .Because of the minority culture tour include plenty of means, so it has become the mainly part in the China tour. However, like a coin, tourism development also has two sides-both promoting development of economy, social culture in minority districts and possibly destroying natural ecology environment and cultural ecology environment there. Applying sustainable development theory, culture transition theory and relevant tourism theory, this dissertation focuses on the problems of the influence on minority culture aroused during minority cultural tourism development. It points out the present deficiency for the development mode of minority culture tourism to protect minority culture, based on which advancing minority eco-culture tourism which balances tourism development and minority culture protection. To protect minority culture effectively and realize sustainable development in minority regions, it studies and discusses corresponding development mode and methods to protect minority culture, seeking for a reasonable mode for tourism development in order to protect minority cultureeffectively and realize sustainable development of tourism. This dissertation consists of three parts. The introduction presents basis, background, significance, methods and technological routes of the study on minority eco-culture tourism. The 2nd and the 3rd parts discuss the development of minority eco-culture tourism and methods to protect minority culture from theoretical and practical point of view respectively.The study on theory consists four parts. (1). It gives a definition to minority eco- culture tourism. Minority eco- culture tourism is considered both as an ecology tourism activity and as a cultural concept about strategy to develop tourism. (2). It points out the necessity to develop minority eco-culture tourism in Karst districts. (3). The theory of minority eco-culture tourism is based on cultural ecology theory, culture transition theory, sustainable development theory and community participation theory. (4). It analyzes specific ways to develop minority eco-culture tourism in Karst districts in the following steps: evaluating development conditions for minority eco-culture tourism; figuring out the environmental capacity for minority eco-culture tourism; adopting the mode to protect ecological tourism resource while developing minority eco-culture tourism.In practice, the study makes a specific analysis which takes Buyi village, Zhenshan, Guizhou province as an example, so as to set an example for the other minority villages in developing tourism. Through analysis the following conclusions are made: (1). The Zhenshan village is a typical minority village inKarst districts in the middle of Guizhou province. It riches in natural and eco-culture tourism resources. (2). To protect Buyi minority culture, this village was listed as an ecological museum in 1998. Within less than ten years' tourism development, the tourism activities have had a negative effect on the natural, cultural environment there. The vulnerability of natural and eco-culture environment determines the necessity for the village to develop minority eco-culture tourism .(3). It evaluates the potential for development of minority eco-culture tourism in the village from three aspects: resource value, tourism environment and development conditions. The score is 74.32 points. So it is suitable for the village to develop minority eco-culture tourism. (4). Calculation shows that the present number of tourists does not exceed the whole environmental capacity of the district. But the imbalance of tourists in time and space causes overloading in some parts there.
