For a long time, the false ideas about the values of resources and environment have been causing the following environmental problems, such as resources wasting, environmental distortion and pollution. The exploitation of karst tourist resources, in one hand, advances the development of tourist economy for its efficiency using resource and protection to environment; in another hand, restricts the development of tourist economy for its inefficacy or abuse to resources and environmental exacerbate under the idea of search for the best economic interests. The damage and pollution of karst resources and environment directly caused the damage of karst tourist economic benefits. Study on the profits and losses of karst tourist environment, resources and economy is to look for a harmonious point among environment, resources and economy, which will advance and supervise karst resources, environmental and economic developments.With western economics, environment economics and resources economics as the guide, for the problems of tourist environment in the exploitation of tourist resources, from the analyses of karst resources exploitation and environmental economy, the paper studies the composingof economic value, methods of measurement and evaluation and function pricing model of karst tourist resources, the special ecologic resources. Based on this, the paper gives a deep study on profits and losses of environmental economy, this paper studies theories of environmental profits and losses along with the development of karst tourist resources, including their measuring methods and steps in qualitative and quantitative ways. Applying the theories and methods to the case of Tianhetang scenic spots in Guizhou, this paper attempts to study the profits and losses of resources and environment in a quantitative way. By contrast of the profits and losses, this paper puts forward some suggestions on the development of karst tourist resources exploitation and environmental economy in harmony, to reduce the economic losses of tourist environment and to look for the best profit of environmental economy.People lack the understanding of karst tourist resources, and public goods, distinct of property right etc, are the factors, which cased the economic losses and profits of environment.
