Study On Chinese Vegetables Export Trade Within The Framework Of WTO

The vegetables are the basic food meeting people's balanced nutrition and diet healthy. They are indispensable in people's life. Vegetables export trade plays a significant role in the trade of agricultural products of our country. In recent years, China has already become the fastest- rising country on vegetables export amount in the world. However, the development of Chinese vegetables export trade still has some outstanding problems. China entered WTO at the end of 2001. At the same time, Chinese vegetables export trade encountered new situations. Consequently Chinese vegetables export trade will not escape the severe compact caused by china entered into WTO. Therefore it is of much significance in both theory and practice to study the issue and fill the vacancy of the research related. The research involves probing Chinese vegetables export trade law and the competitive power of Chinese vegetables, analyzing the real compact on Chinese vegetables export trade, holding the advantage and disadvantage participating in international competition of Chinese vegetables export accurately and studying the related export trade countermeasures.Many methods are applied in this dissertation, such as statistical analysis; comparative analysis and positive analysis to analyze the current situations and the advantage of Chinese vegetables export trade. The dissertation is composed of 5 chapters except the preface. The focal point is the opportunity; challenge and countermeasures of Chinese vegetables export trade within the framework of WTO. Chapter I introduces the amount, price, variety and structure of Chinese vegetables export trade to analyze the current situations of Chinese export trade. Chapter II discusses the competitive power of Chinese vegetables form the resource, production scale, technology, price and competitive of Chinese vegetables. Chapter III analyzes the consequent compact on Chinese vegetables export trade once china gets enrolled in WTO proceeding with WTO rule. The chapter FV makes a research on the foreign experience and reference, taking U.S.A, European union, Korea as an example. And the last chapter put forward the development countermeasures of Chinese vegetables export trade in the new situations.
