HR Decision System Based On The Data Warehouse And Data Mining

With the development of information technology such as computer tech., communication tech., net tech., the new economic has been coming. Since the features of new economic, the knowledge play an leader role in the new economic increase, human resource (HR) represented by information worker and manager are key to the corporation development. Therefore, the paper brings about the decision support system (DSS) to support the manager's decision on the human resource management, which is based on the data warehouse and data mining, which is the business intelligence way used in the human resource management. With the help of the decision support system, the analysis function shortage of human resource system and new demand of HR management in the new economic can be solved well.The paper begins at the passive effects of the information system, especially the DSS on the organization and management and competitive advantage. Then, the human resource system is introduced in different aspects such as the function block, software company and its feature of the software. From this aspect the paper tries to discuss the shortage of the HR system and lead to the way of DSS establishment according to the DSS theory and development of the intelligent system. With the guide of this idea the DW, DM, the basement of the intelligence decision system, HR decision system are discussed from the aim, solution, step,and the method of carrying out the solution of DSS. And a case of the HR DSS are demonstrated on analysis of the personal key performance (KPI) and organization KPI.At last, the application service provider (ASP), are stated in detail because of the expensive investment of DSS on manpower, finance, technology, the ASP service model could help the corporation in China, especially in small-mid size one well.
