With the development of socialization of information and integration of globalization, the management based on specialized divisions is becoming tardy. Enterprises are more and more incompatible with modern business environment characterized by customer,competition and change. Consequently, Business Process Reengineering (BPR), a creative management, which conforms to social progress in reality, sticks no longer to principles of traditional divisions, on the contrary, it's thoroughly changed the current business process and restructured the organizations so as to achieve prominent improvement in cost, quality, service and efficiency which are crucial elements for assessment of enterprise's success.The reason why BPR is a popular management ideology currently is that it meets the modern demand with high effectiveness and returns. Although high proficiency of BPR is attractive to most enterprises, few intended to take a chance owing to it potential high risks.Enterprises are bound to suffer total failure without accurate comprehension, acknowledge, and application of BPR, as BPR is new to world without sufficient practical experience.This article analyzes the challenges and opportunities ofenterprises in present-day society and importance of BPR implementation .The author employs SWOT analysis on advantages and disadvantages based on opportunities and risks of SJCY company, advocates that a learning organization should be established, a new management mode be determined, and '' sub-business department " be set up in the light of origination restructuring With the aid of integrated information, it' s feasible for enterprise to pursue BPR, to promote the change of management code and establish "product manager system" simultaneously. The author ardently expects BPR practice is of great benefit for Chinese enterprises, especially for large and medium-size state-owned enterprises.
