A Demonstive Study On The Mechanics Of Rural Urbanization

Rural urbanization is a indispensable stage on the way to modernization . The attitude change from "big question" to "big strategy " embodies the deepening awareness of the economic importance of the rural urbanization .The report of the Session of the 16th Central Committee of CPC point out that we should increase the proportion of urban population , and that it is a necessary trend in the process of Industry and Modernization to remove the rural redundant labors to the non-agricultural parts and to the urban . since the 3th Plenary Session of the 15th Central Committee of CPC , Jiang Su province takes the rural urbanization as a significant economic and social strategy , and requires to accelerate the rural urbanization process . The rural urbanization generally plays an important role in whole urbanization process.Problems, especially the area difference in urban level, rise with the development of rural urbanization,. On the base of the research on the driven mechanism , the thesis analyzes the reasons for the area difference . In the first section , the thesis lays out the basic definitions and theories , figures out the driven structure , and then concludes driven mechanism . The second section is the qualitative analysis , which focuses on the composition of the driven structure and the corresponding problems existing in the countryside of Jiang Su province . The third section is mainly the empirical analysis , which researches systematically the Urbanization level in Jiang Su province . In the forth section , the thesis reviews the rural urbanization , especially analyzes the overall level of it , and then the thesis suggests some policy proposals .The purpose of the thesis, with the research on the driven mechanism, is to probe the affecting factors, and to find a way to promote the construction of rural urbanization and to improve the quality of it . Because of the similarity between Jiang Su province and the other parts of China in the area difference of rural urbanization , the suggestive proposals are applicable generally .
