On The Regional Distribution Of FDI Of China

The regional distribution of Foreign direct investment (FDI) reflect on the background of the FDI scale regularly increasing in the world, on the other hand it reflect the action that the investors select their invest location over the world. For the host country, from the theoretical research and empirical exploration, FDI has positive effect; For the multinational corporation, the FDI flow direction and select invest location has increasingly become the most important strategic consideration; For parent country, the flow direction of FDI will have important effects on its balance of payments and its action on the international economic and political stage. To sum up, the regional distribution of FDI has an important effect on the international resource distribution and regional structure.There is quite serious unbalance region development on FDI in current world. To international economic development, this existing phenomenon gives rise to unfavorable impact on the international resource distribution. In particular, to the host country that eagerly acquires productive resources and factors, attracting foreign capital is too precious. Then on the earth what factors decide the regional distribution of FDI? For the host countries that want to acquire necessitous foreign capital, how they can keep the forthcoming status and improve its investment climate? For the Chinese enterprises, what regional strategy should be adopted on the international management? These questions addressed above are the main topics of this dissertation. Through profound researches , theories on Location , the economics of MNEs and international trade have been put forward in the domain correlated with this thesis. Some researchers studied the special regional distribution of FDI. Some suggestions have been putforward, but the specialized researches aimed for regional distribution of FDI and formatting theoretical system were not abundant. This paper try to do some search on it.This paper effort to innovation on the two aspects: firstly, refer the theory of respectively from microscopic and macroscopic angle, analysis the mechanism of the regional distribution of FDI,Thereby it format the theoretical base of this paper; secondly, in the course of discuss, adopt theoretical and empirical analysis, static and dynamic analysis, to make a research on the regional distribution of FDI.This paper takes up the research on the topic in four chapters. In Chapter I , firstly, elaborate the Conception of regional distribution of FDI, then look back the relative international and national theory and put forward its reference and enlighten on us. In chapter II, make theoretical and empirical analysis on regional distribution of FDI. At first reveal its condition and the existed problem, sum up its new feature and tendency, then explain the impact on economic development of the world of regional distribution of FDI briefly, finally synthesize the regional decision factor. In ChapterIII, analyze the current situation of the regional distribution of FDI of our country, point out the existing problem, and has done reason analysis. In ChapterIV, for our country as host country and international management Chinese enterprises, it put forward some strategic consideration and policy suggestion.
