A Research Into The Rural Industrial Structure In Hubei

The countryside of China is facing an important task of strategic adjustment in industrial structure at present.As a big agricultural province,Hubei is worth strdying how to speed up its rural industrial structure.On the foundation of this practical require and his own work,the author chooses that as the content of the dissertation of Master's degree. The purpose of this is to bring to the light the general law of the development of the rural industrial structure, propose the basic train of thought and necessary measure in accordance with the condition of Hubei province.thus providing reference basis for the work of government at all levels.This dissertation consists of four chapters,approaching problems by integrating standard with case, quantity and quality, history and reality.In the first chapter,the dissertation defines the concept of rural industrial structure and the two phases of its development, discussing the comcept and kinds of the growth of economy. After this, the relationship between the industrial structure and the growth of economy, that the perfection and escalation of rural industrial structure is the source and way of rural economy growth, and the essential demand of the development of agriculture is analyzed.In the second chapter, the dissertation explains the present condition of Hubei rural industrial structure. Its characters over 20 years are summarized. Meanwhile, its present problems are also raised, and the condition that the rural industrial structure in Hubei is at a rather low level according to its industrial scale, production fluctuation, agricultural capital structure,necessary measures in advanced.In the third chapter, the dissertation approaches the basic train of thought for the adjustment and escalation of Hubei rural industrial structure. Four aspects are summed up:construction of new plantation production system according to the market's demand; formation of industrial advantage by developing region agriculture, scale management and specialized production level; change from the direct trade to processing trade of agricultural products; attaching great importance to barley production, thus promoting the development of feed processing and food industrial.In the fourth chapter ,the dissertation poses some necessary measures of the adjustment and escalation of Hubei rural industrial structure. It mainly includes: deepening the property right system reform of rural land; blazing new trails in the system; reforming the rural science and technology mamgement system; enhancing macroscopic regulation; carrying out the cities and towns strategy; reconstructing the structure of the agricultural development according to the comparative advantage law.
