Walking Industrial Agglomeration Road To Revitalizing The Northeast Old Industrial Base

Nowadays the economic globalization has already become the trend. It seems that the forming of the global market as well as the fast development of the traffic, the communication and the information technology has reduced the function of the position factor in the competition. However, the fact is not totally like this. The industries with competitive advantage on the global market often have obvious regional characteristics. The strong competitiveness shown by the industrial clusters of Zhujiang River Delta, Zhejiang and Fujian arouse great concern from the government and scholars. That studying the relation between the industrial clusters and the regional competitiveness, showing the positive economic effect of industrial clusters, discussing the government's role in forming the clusters, creating the regional environment of industrial clusters has the signification for driving the development of the whole regional economy.This dissertation starts with the characteristic of the industrial clusters, and then introduces the theories about the industrial cluster. Under the background of revitalizing the old industrial base of the Northeast, and on the basis of the characteristic of the industrial structure of the Northeast, it suggests that can revitalize the Northeast by taking the way of industrial cluster. Finally it takes Liaoning Province as an example to explain the economic effect of the industrial cluster.The dissertation is organized as falls:Chapter one is introduction, which presents the concept and the feature of industrial cluster, and reveals the meaning of this study.Chapter two is the section to explore theories about industrial cluster. In this section, the author summaries and comments on the industrial cluster theories in term of time order.Chapter three is the key part of this dissertation. Firstly, it introduces the development history of the Northeastern industrial structure since the foundation of the state, and points out the existing problem. Secondly, it advances that can revitalize the old industrial base in the Northeast by industrial cluster, and put forward two ways on the basis of the characteristic of the NortheastChapter four makes an empirical analysis on the effect of the industrial cluster of Liaoning on the basis of the CES production function, which was induced by Tangjie.
