In The 21th Century Rising China Propped Up By The Cock-shaped Development Strategic Model

At the beginning of the 21th Century, China presents a new mode of thinking and a much active attitude. The mode of thinking is showed by that China conforms to the trend of regional economic integration and seeks relying on the strength of group; The attitude is done by that China acts actively, and tries to accomplish something.China has become much stronger and more responsible for the world than before through more-than-20-year' s reform and opening-up. In the 21th Century, China will become much strong and maintain the status of great power if it continues seasonably to take part in more global, regional or sub-regional organizations. Manifested by a series of facts, on comes Asian development strategic model of China rising in the 21th Century, i.e., the cock-shaped development strategic model.The cock-shaped development strategic model is initially assumed by pictorialization. That is, China is like a chinning-up cock, standing on the Orient and extending his two huge wings: the north wing is SCO, the south one is ACFTA. The Model' s goal is to integrate SCO and ACFTA together, and to absorb some other neighbouring countries in to form a much great regional organization ( or free trade area ). The free trade area in future is Eastern Asian Free Trade Area, or Asian Free Trade Area, perhaps Asian Union.Actually, the Model is summarized from the total development strategies that China heads for the world, meets the challenges and seizesthe chances in the 21th Century with a much active and much liberal manner, then plunges into the waves of regional economic integration. The Model takes the rise and development of China as a premise and a driving power, meanwhile it is a win-win model favorable to the rise and development of China. In the future, the stronger the cock becomes, the more generously China acts as one of the most important country in the world.This thesis has three sections.Section One is the definition of the concept of development strategic model. The Model in this thesis is defined to a sum of tactics about all aspects of a country ( or some countries / a region ) that the country adopts the tactics to strengthen itself in the current and future time. The Model can explain the interest, the standpoint and the starting point of the country.Section Two analyzes the two wings of the Model by analyzing its developing course, the reason of its establishment, its developing trend and existing issues. Then on comes the uppermost goal of the Model to establish Asian Union after a simple analysis of Boao Forum for Asia (BFA).Section Three analyzes the actual foundation of the Model by analyzing the geo-politic and geo-economic reality of China, economic globalization, regional economic integration and world multipolarization.
