On The Primary Contradiction Of The Post-Cold War International Relations'

The contradiction between the Soviet Union and the US does not exist after the end of the Cold War. Which is the Primary Contradiction of the international relations' now? Many contending views can be found in the academic schools. Some believe the contradiction among the west is the Primary Contradiction of the Post-Cold War international relations', others believe it is the contradiction between the south and the north, still others believe the new contradiction between the east and the west. Both are bound to cause the complicated contradictions among them.In the first, the contradiction that the US seeks to establish a kind of all-around hegemony and the others fight against it has been always the theme of international relations after the end of the Cold War; Secondly, the contradiction belongs to what is among the powerful states or groups; finally, this kind of contradiction regulates the development of the international relations after the Cold War. So it measures up the standards we set above and can be regarded as the Primary Contradiction of the Post-Cold War international relations'.Peace and development are still the themes of our times. The contradiction will develop and act differently in different days. It goes peacefully in general now.The world cannot be without China and vice versa, we should seize the Primary Contradiction and take measures in point to make the diplomacy contribute to China's development.
